Folks, we have a serious problem. According to a recent survey* conducted by Nielson, there’s a bout of skin irritation and chafing going around and you don’t even know it. More than half (60%) of adult men and women have experienced it, and more than two thirds (68%) of those people say they’re feeling it in their nether regions – the butt, inner thighs, and yes, the male berries.
The guys (and probably some of the commenters) on our recent nine-bike Ultimate Sports-Adventure-Touring shootout can likely relate to irritation, too. But while it can’t do anything about your favorite bike that didn’t win our shootout, Anti Monkey Butt – commissioners of the survey and producers of the popular powder that soothes and relieves irritated skin – is on a mission to “Save the Butts,” allowing men and women to continue with their favorite activities, including motorcycling without having to worry about uncomfortable friction.
The survey found that the most common activities to cause chafing and irritation in the nether regions were cited as walking (26%), exercising (25%), running (21%), and outdoor activities (21%) such as horseback riding or hiking. In addition, men and women are urged to take extra caution during warm summer months when the chances of getting monkey butt are heightened. A handful of respondents also claimed instances of monkey butt under their arms, on their feet, hands and nipples.
Riding a motorcycle for long periods of time can also cause skin irritation and chafing. Luckily, Anti Monkey Butt is here to help.
